Today went to Mid Valley to see Giant Transformer. While walking from Garden to Mid Valley at the ground floor, we go to cold storage to buy some fruit. Then we look around that area, we found some new restaurants. Ori-Udon, sounds great. So we pick this for our lunch. Seldom find a restaurant only sell Udon, usually people will interested on Ramen and sushi. After we find a table, the waitress bring the menu to us. Look at the menu, it really not so attracting. So we just simply pick Set7 and Jumbo Udon.

  • Set 7 - a set come with regular udon, refillable green tea, fried chicken chop with wasabi sauce on top, fried abalone mushroom (鲍鱼菇), fried mushroom(冬菇) and fried enoki mushroom(金针菇). Portion is big, unexpected they use miso soup for the base soup, it really fresh taste. i can guarantee no MSG added, because after 2 hours, i didn't felt thirsty.
  • Jumbo Udon - the udon portion is slightly bigger than set7, it come with egg, fried abalone mushroom, fried fish ball, fried prawn, fried mushroom and fried taofu pok. This does not come with drinks.
The soup is nice, but those fried mushroom not so much taste. Fried chicken chop is the best, not so oily, together with the wasabi sauce, it is outstanding. Portion is big and satisfy.

Location of this restaurant is just opposite cold storage in The Garden, easy to find. Price for set7 is RM19.90 and Jumbo Udon is RM16.90, i think it is reasonable.

Happy Wesak Day! Today have a walk at puchong setia walk. After our lunch, we decided to have a cup of coffee. So we simply pick and went into one of the coffee house, named COFFEine, is crowded. We just taken a light lunch, so we decided to try their chicken bolognese together with a cup of their signature coffee, Electro Choco (cream, hazelnut coffee, milk & cocoa powder with latte art).
  • Ambiance is nice. A little bit retro design.
  • Chicken Bolognese is too healthy for us. It is dry, not much oil. The taste of this bolognese really can't satisfy us. It taste like less sugar, less tomato, less oil and less salt.
  • Electro choco, their signature coffee recommended by their barista. Is a combination of hazelnut coffee, milk, cream and cocoa powder for topping with latte art. For those who like sweet coffee, this is great. Taste is very rich.
  • Kahlua Tiramisu, after finish up the bolognese, we felt not satisfy. then we go look for desert. Oh great, Tiramisu finally win. Price is not cheap. 100 marks for to drawing art and the almond topping. but the cake is not so good. they use sponge cake absorb Kahlua (a coffee-flavored liqueur) and cream cheese for the layer and outer part. Is different from traditional tiramisu, but not better.

从马六甲回KL,半路飞去找闻名已久的芙蓉焼蟹。有一位朋友告诉我这里的焼蟹很好吃,所以就来了。7.30pm 抵达目的地,还好没什么人潮,可能刚好是星期一和时间还早吧。找到一个满凉的位子,刚坐下不久下单的就来了。我们就order了2只大烧蟹(1.5kg),咸蛋乌贼(sotong), 加多一个3人份的啦啦炒米粉,人数不多所以不能order多。
  • 烧蟹,果然名不虚传。我曾经吃过Klang的,那里的煮法是盐烧,和这里的不一样。这里用的是酱油烧,加上麦芽,味道甜带咸,很入味。螃蟹也很新鲜,好吃。1kg RM68 (跟市价),这里是算重量,如果可以的话,order大只的,才可以享受到饱满的蟹肉。
  • 啦啦炒米粉,RM20。啦啦不算大只,也是算重量的。味道不错,连壳一起炒,加了嫩姜,米粉有一阵香香的姜味,完全没有姜辣。不错的配搭。
  • 咸蛋乌贼(sotong),RM12。味道一级棒,咸蛋炒得刚刚好,不会太湿。不过乌贼肉就比较薄,吃起来没什么口感。
  • 自家沾酱很特别,酸酸甜甜。沾什么都很搭。
吃完差不多9pm了。站起来才发现已经满座了。奉劝如果要来试,最好早点到

This is the first time i come here. It actually located at the 1st floor, just upper level of Hometown Steamboat @ Bandar Puteri Puchong. Ambiance not bad, staffs is good manners. I don't think there got any barista, because the coffee not come with Latte Art. Overall the food are nice.

  • Pizza base is crunchy, nice combination with pineapple and turkey ham. 
  • Spaghetti just normal compare to other cafe/restaurant, white sauce (cream and cheese) mixed together with bacon, which i most preferred flavor. but too bad, it doesn't surprise me. 
  • Pork burger also one of my favorite meal. But here they does not serve grilled meat. they mix the pork with the bread crumbs, fried... beside that, there are bacon, vege, mayonnaise, french fries and salad.  overall not bad, but i hate their side dishes, salad. i really don't understand why they use sweet grape sauce, it really cannot match with the salad. SWEET!! first bite i feel like, Shit! why they put syrup.
  • Drinks. I ordered Swiss Mocha Coco. taste good. But here they don't provide free skyjuice, which we know as a drinking water, RO water or filtered water, charged rm1 (refillable). Come on, this should be free.
